内容摘要: Optical narrowband filtering ranging from MHz to several GHz plays an important role in high-resolution optical signal processing, especially in the context of flexible switching in high speed optical transmission systems and band-pass filtering in microwave photonics. In this talk, I will review our recent activities on stimulation Brillouin scattering (SBS) based narrowband optical filter design and applications. Software-defined optical filter with bandwidth range from 30MHz to 5GHz has been realized based on SBS effect in optical fibers. The filter central wavelength, bandwidth, shape and suppression ratio can be software-defined with a resolution of 10MHz. The applications including reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer, microwave photonic filter and pulse shaping have been demonstrated.

义理林,上海交通大学教授,博士生导师,全国优秀博士学位论文(2010)/ 国家优秀青年科学基金获得者(2013)。主要从事光子信息处理、宽带光接入与短距离互联、保密光通信等方面的研究。在国外一流刊物和会议上发表论文100余篇,SCI收录60余篇,其中SCI期刊邀请论文2篇,SCI他引500余次。发表OFC top scored paper, ACP PDP, APOC best student paper, ACP best student paper各1篇。在Photonics West/OECC/ACP等国际会议做特邀报告20余次。担任IEEE CSN&DSP2012/ICCC2014/OECC2015/PIERS2016分会共主席, ACP2014本地组委会秘书,OFC2017/ACP2016/ICOCN2016等会议程序委员会成员。是IEEE/OSA会员,中国密码学会混沌专委会常务委员,中国通信学会学术新锐论坛执行委员。
